Before you schedule a home inspection, you may have questions about the process. That's why Premium Home Inspections has put together a list of some of our most frequently asked questions.

How soon can you go out and inspect the houses?

We can usually complete a home inspection within two days.

How long will it take after the inspection for me to get the report?

Within 24 hours after the inspection, you will get the report

Are you licensed and insured?

We are licensed and insured in the state of New Hampshire. Plus, our home inspector has more than 20 years of experience

How long will the inspection take?

Depending on the size on the home, an inspection can take anywhere from one to two hours. Larger homes (10+ bedrooms) take up to three hours. We'll conduct an interior and exterior home inspection.

Do you email the report?

Yes, we'll email you a comprehensive whole home inspection report within 24 hours.

Do you work on weekends?

Yes, we work on weekends

Is there anything I should do on my end prior to the inspection taking place to ensure it can be completed properly?

You don't need to do much before your home inspection. However, by making sure we can access the utility and electrical rooms, you can make our electrical inspection a lot easier.

What do you test for when you test my water?

When we do water testing, we'll look for the presence of any potentially harmful chemicals as well as minerals in your water that can contribute to scale buildup and skin irritation.

Do you provide FHA or VA water testing?

We offer both FHA and VA water testing. Loans and refinancing programs may need proof of water testing on your private well. FHA water testing requires the water to meet EPA guidelines. VA water testing involves looking for nitrates, nitrites, coliform and lead.

Do you do same day services?

Our home inspector can typically make it out the same day if needed.

Do you test for mold?

Yes, our inspector has been an advanced mold inspector since 2005.

We provide home inspections throughout Concord, Manchester and Nashua, NH as well as the surrounding areas.

Do you perform new construction inspections?

Yes, we inspect new construction homes to make sure everything is compliant with codes and permits.
